Welcome to the the Calgary Urban Initiative Awards for Excellence in Design! These awards were created in order to engage the public in critical debate about design and architecture in our booming city. Now you, the public, has an opportunity to decide what projects deserve critical acclaim by voting for the Citizen's Award. Projects are not categorized by type, instead we wish to recognize any project completed in 2006 that positively contributes to Calgary's ever-changing public realm.

All you need to vote is an interest in improving the quality of design and architecture in Calgary, and an email address (You will not be added to any database or mailing list, your email address will only be used for varification purposes, so check your inbox after voting.)
